i have to let this out. i feel it constantly.

a friend of mine came over to visit from home while on his trip.

he just left my room and now i'm left with this feeling of sadness, gladness and wonder.

i've always valued companionship,especially those that mean something to me.

when my friend left,i realised that i miss all of my friends from home. I miss all of my primary and secondary school friends. some of us have remained good friends for more than 10 years. we grew up together. we shared alot of experiences.

I miss all the fun and free times I experienced.

Then moving on to college,I met the greatest bunch of people. This group of individuals trully shaped my life. And I mean this sincerely. They mean alot to me too...although I do wonder sometimes what I mean to them. But I really feel that being around these people,it just reinforces my core beliefs in companionship and that if something means anything to you,it's worth keeping.

Now I'm in uni...it's been a tough ride...filled with tears and laughter. Amazing how these two keep coming up in life hand in hand. I am blessed yet again to be among a wonderful group of people. They too mean alot to me. Maybe some more than others. But having them in my life is a true blessing.

I grow afraid of losing the bonds that have been created over time with these individuals that I have met. I am afraid that things change so much that what was poured into any form of companionship just washes away. It's sad that when all you want to do is talk to a person again but the other person doesn't seem interested. I know things change,yes we grow up,yes things are different. But I bet there's no denying the fact that some things will always remain. And I hold that very dearly. I believe in that.

I miss my family more than anything as well.

This post is about people, because really, that's one of the things life's about...

Ever find yourself asking what's the point?

What's the point caring?
What's the point liking her if she doesn't like me?
What's the point in studying when i'm going to fail?
What's the point in trying when I can't make it to the end?
What's the point running a race you know you can't win?

Obviously we could start by changing how we structure the questions we ask ourselves. But today, I wanna talk about 'what's the point'.

Sometimes you get that feeling of not seeing the point in doing something. for instance, trying to save a friendship when the other party doesn't seem to bother to do the same. Only you will know how much the friendship means between the both of you, only you know what it took to get it. But all of a sudden you realize it's fading away. You call, you text and you try to bridge the gaps and seal the cracks that you noticed. But it seems like you're the only one doing so and the other party seems uninterested. Here is where the question comes in...is this all worth it? WHAT'S THE POINT?

What's the point in running a race you can't win?
It's in the fact that you would be running your own race, not that of someone else
It's the fact that you gave it a go, gave it a try
It's the fact that you do not give up even before it's started
The point isn't about winning but how much heart you put into trying...how much you've learnt from your journey to the end

Simple Meal for Common Dummies =)

Here's a simple meal I cooked up today for dinner. It's simple yet alil chique (as if =)
Let me take you through it.

Bought important culinary weapons today at Home & Living at The Spring. It's this great shop selling stuff you need at home and cool water bottles too(I think I've found my new fetish). They actually have some rather interesting and quality goods. And,they treated me well,like a customer and not some random kid who comes in to take a look at stuff,sniffs and walks out =) good on you people!
I am VERY proud of the new frying pan. It's non-stick and non-scratch. I love it. Frying pan,you are so sexyyyyyyyyyy...Now,I'm preparing Grilled Beef Cutlets with Greens. (Apologies to my non-beef eating readers)
Get some cutlets of beef (or a steak,lamb shoulder or something without bones) from your local butcher,got mine from Ta Kiong,not pricey and FESH and rub it with salt,pepper and a marinate of your liking. I used the Lim Kum Hee bbq marinate. Bag it up and leave it be in the fridge for about an hour or so.While you let the marinate set in the meat,prepare the salad by grating some carrots,cleaning the lettuce(or any other greens you like. I recommend getting those more pricey ones cause they're packed in vitamins,are fresh and last longer) and opening a can of sweet corn kernel. Top it off with any salad dressing you like. Add a nice hard boiled egg if you want =)Take your meat out and pan fry it to give it that crusty caramelized texture people crave for. Be sure not to cook it,all you want is a nice brown coating over the meat so watch the heat and make sure both sides of the meat have equal time over direct heat.Next up,pop the meat into your oven or grill at a temperature of say 100degrees celsius,for smaller chunks of meat such as the one I used or if you're using steak sized portions, 120-130degrees. Make sure you've pre-heated the oven!!!After 25-35 minutes(depending on portion size), turn off the heat and let the meat rest for 5-10 minutes. After that, plate and serve =)

I'll take you a few steps back.
Let me take you through my 2009 and share you the moments I'll remember...

Babuk...
My late grandad passed away on the 15th of September 2009 at about 10a.m. He was supposed to be 74 in December... I was by his side. This has to be the hardest time I have ever had to face in my entire life to date...Losing him left me numb...left us all numb and feeling empty. He was a huge part of my life and sometimes,I regret not being able to spend more time with him cause I was off at uni. But the comforting thought I keep in my mind was knowing that he was proud of me. And I hope he knew...and that he knows to this day, how proud and blessed I am to have a grandfather like him...
Start of University Studies

Turning 19 meant leaving home. Pursuing my education in a distant and foreign land. I got myself into The University of Adelaide and the experience this whole year has been eye opening. Living away from home,in some place I never even imagined of going was a whole new chapter in my life. I'm really glad God made this all come true and also for the support I got from my family. Still have 2 more years to go and I plan to make the most of the time left...The uni from across the bridge Glenelg Beach Keepin it real =p

Camping in the Outback
Yes,I really did camp in the outback with my friend from college. We went over to Jenna's holiday house about 5hours drive North of Adelaide nearby Port Augusta. It was trully memorable being around great company and having fun. Climbed Mt.Brown, Rode around in the ATV and even managed to go horseback riding =)
Sydney!

My first ever long-haul roadtrip to Sydney. Actually my first ever visit to Sydney =). Cut across the nation on a 16 hour drive leaving on a Friday night and coming back on a Monday was quite an experience. This Christmas was different...I didn't feel the spirit this time round... It's not that I wasn't trying, it just wasn't there. I miss him so much...we all do. This is the first Christmas without Babuk around...the first of many. It's been a very long time since I've last updated my blog...maybe because I had nothing to say...or too much to say...Maybe I was drowning with the things going on around me or Maybe I was just trying to appreciate every moment I experienced...I have to say that the major and in truth...most painful moment for me this year was losing my grandad on the 15th of September this year...the hurt,pain and loss was so unbearable. I never regretted coming back to spend time with him until he took his last breath... You were a great man and an awesome Babuk...I love you and miss you dearly...

Apart from that...09 has been a true new chapter in my life... going off to uni,meting new people,learning new things, visiting so many different places... I'm really looking forward to what 2010 holds...
But let me share with you why 2009 wasn't such a cloudy time of my life...cause towards the end...I got myself to a rainbow...a special time that reminded me that life holds so much for us...and that as long as you are willing to find it,the best treasurers in life that are still around can be found...

I came to the decision of going over to KL during the holidays to pay my college mates a visit...I was, as WWG would put it, 'contemplating'(=p) whether to go or not...seeing as everyone were in different places throughout the year and it's been hard for everyone to keep in touch properly which is kinda sad =(.

But I went ahead with my plans anyway, trusting that the wonderful people I spent almost a year with last year would still be that wonderful group of friends I am blessed to have...
And guess what...it was worth all the time in the world.....

Wednesday

Arrived at the airport and Calvin and Adrian's dad was there to take us back to their place. Their parents are such warm people. Went out that night for supper at a mamak in usj...my first time ever going to a mamak wei hahaha.

Thursday
Had breakfast at PORK MEE old man damn slow and moustache woman SHOP in ss15 =))))))) with Calvin and Adrian for breakfast.NOW that put a huge smile on my face hahaha. Been so long since I went there...more than a year and it brings back fond memories..... me making that 'owh zhen you're so hot my specs are fogging up' to bob n jie hao's bitch fights. ahhhhhh =) Then met up with Adrian and Steph for lunch where we had Pan Mee at a place nearby his place (vague i know hahaha). Went to MidValley for some shopping and then had dinner at the famous MURNI.
Moved on to supper after that at some place in Kepong where the twins were late cause they got lost haha. Had these shaved ice dishes over there where Alex and Shir Ley joined us.Friday
Breakfast in the morning with Mr.Bob and the lovely Zhen and Wei Guan at OnS.
Had CCF AND Char Kueh Teow at SS2.Hung out at 1U for abit before heading off to spend time with uncle and the family.Saturday

spent most of the day with family eating and going around Sunday
Went to Pavilion to have lunch with my Uni mates. Walked around,took pictures and Aidan bought a new pair of shoes.Then had dinner with my friends from Taylor's at Michaelangelos. Don't really like the food...quality not up to par with it's name =p.Monday
Had a yummy Pork Mee breakfast with the gang (less Sue and Jie Hao) and went for a walk and a shop at Pyramid =).Had dinner later on with Calvin and Adrian at the bak kut teh shop at SS14. Then went over to USJ to visit Jo Ann.Great night out with the gang again together with Keith and HQ at The Laundry,The Curve...we brought our washing powder...and drank it down...well...i drank most of the washing detergent =p. And had Roti Tisu at KAYU for supper!!! First time man hahaha...it was delish. Thanks WWG!!! Tuesday =(

Flight was at 3.15...got friggin cancelled. New flight was at 6.20...got friggin delayed and left at 7.20 cause they couldn't open the door to the boarding gate -_-...waited for half an hour...owh MAS...what has happened to you... Apart from that though,am so so happy I got to finally eat breakfast with the rest...mind you,eating breakfast together with this group of people is no easy feat...It means alot to me that they woke up so early,especially Zhen n Joanne,just to come have breakfast with me at the Balai polisnasi lemak store made famous and known to me by the amazing Wei Guan at weiguan.blogspot.com =p. They damn sweet lo like zombie like that eating nasi lemak hahaha.amazing how Keith got her to wake up that early =p WWG and Hq =)

We moved on to some Hong Kong kinda store and took lotsa photos and had drinks.Zhen trying to do "THE RUI ZHEN"but failed miserably =p

I was feeling like really really sad by then...I didn't want my trip to end...a week seemed like just a few days. I wasn't satisfied hanging out with them and it was really frustrating cause I live like, on the other side of the sea. I dnt know when's the next time we'll be able to hang out like that again...I dnt know when I'll hear their laughs and see their smiles and listen to their stories and jokes...I can only hope that this thing that we have and share between each other doesn't fade away, cause it's not easy to find and sincerely speaking, it's one of life's trully wonderful gifts...the little things that we go through everytime we're together are the sweetest things that come to mind. I am missing them dearly...though it sounds gay,it's true...XoXo

Hello world.
Yes yes I am still alive for those who actually bother wondering where I’ve been. It hasn’t been easy going through the first sem of uni and getting used to things that’s why my blog is kinda void of stuff. Hopefully that streak will end soon.
I just got back from Sydney on a road trip with a few of my other senior college mates. Going on a road trip with 2 future doctors, an IT tech guy, future dentist and 2 PHD students is a fun and interesting thing. Where else can you get to hang out with such a diverse group of ppl if nt in uni?
Anyway, let me start from a few months back.

A Long Time Coming

I'm sorry for the long absence. So much has been going on and it has not been easy deciding on what to blog about. Life here has been good so far...the people and the happenings have made life and adjusting here much easier for me. Now,let me take you through what has been going on so far here in the best chronologically mannered way possible...

*International Rugby 7's Adelaide

Watched the 7's at the Adelaide Oval with Ho Kwin and it was a great experience watching grown men touch,fondle,grab,yank,tackle and slam each other to the ground on a true international sporting and gentlemen-ly stage.

At the end of it all, good old South Africa swept the competition aside and took the trophy.

*The Nights of Card Games and endless alcohol Consumption

Now don't take this wrongly,i did my best to avoid intoxication by winning as many games as i could and I should add I make my homies back home proud with the some of the shit I had to down. *The Gunyah Invasion

One of the most horrifying experiences of my life. I was gagged and chunked into a car with 2white girls and an Asian kid,driven 4hours past endless dust and sand void of civilization and ended up in the middle of nowhere among skeletal remnants of only god-knows-what. Then i was forced to down many drinks and had to laugh and dance with my white captors. I was drugged to sleep and upon opening my eyes,found myself standing on the back of a truck with a cage around us in the mid day sun. Given shades,we rode for an hour to a Mt.Brown and had to gruellingly trek our way up to the tip of the mountain where i would be put to the stake as an offering to the rain gods. Fortunately stakes were not brought and i was spared. That night again i was drugged to sleep and waking up the next morning to the sound of tourturous music,was fed with bacon and sausages. Went to my captors crib and was chained to Quad bike/ATV and forced to ride it around like a happy idiot against my will. Next, they put me on a horse and made it gallop to hurt my delicate parts. I was drugged and driven back to college again. The End.......

Those were not the exact turn of events I went through but i can give u a one word to describe my weekend.

The events i have had the privelege of experiencing so far have trully been life-enriching. It just shows you what life has to offer and I tell you it is unlimited. It makes you realise how important it is to cherish what you have and to look forward to the best. It keeps you wondering and growing. It gives you hope that not all is dull and gloom. It gives you that extra boost when you are down. It keeps you alive.

Kitchen Duty supposedly started at 8 a.m. But noooooooooooo...they tell me to come back at 9 cause there's no work to do...fine... I can't seem to find the proper letters on my keyboard now. I still feel hazy...NOT good. Had a rather rough night...12.30...that's when everything was just a blur and i'm trying to figure out what happened just to make sure i didn't do anything stupid.

IRB 7's on in Adelaide this coming weekend...thinking if i should go or not...hmmm...i wonder how it would be like to watch a live international rugby game. It's only 7's though,not as exciting as the ones we watch on TV. Dang...it's almost 9...argh...TIRED TIRED TIRED!!! =(

The Rock is apparently cooking 'Mi Goreng'...apparently...the whole corridor smells like 'Mi Goreng'. AND it is definitely not MY fault that people on my corridor are enjoying a healthy supply of the stuff. But seriously...when you're hungry, it's one of the things u would wanna shove down ur throat...-_- swt...Don't be stupidla go and shove instant noodles down ur throat.

alright,i won't be able to give full updates until the holidays...*Easter break Easter break hurry up!!!*...but you should at least know that i am no longer in 'Maraysia', i am not stuck in the stinking social system that reeks bias AND i am DEPRIVED of my supper dupper Yummy yummy food from back home. In short,i am not at home. I am in Adelaide, Australia. Kampung Adelaide i call it cause my friends laughed at me when i said i wanted to come here...-_- damn u jie hao..Canberra nothing also la k. It's been ok so far. Living here in a residential college. Damn EX wei!!! i can buy like my own KoLo Mee shop back home. But ahh...the sacrifices we make in the name of education.

The raindrops are trickling outside my window. Cold la, very difficult to wake up early. I have 3 alarms ringing over and over again but the comfort of the pillow is just too tempting.

It's been almost a week since i've left subang and here i find myself sitting down alone at home with nothing to do. I miss those times where i would wake up,open the door and find my friends playing and scolding each other in the living room. The sound and the noise. The things i find myslef doing,the moving,the work,the studying....yeah...i actually miss doing that. It's weird because when i actually study,i feel damn demoralized and lazy,but i enjoyed it,having something to do.The gang were in Ipoh recently,if only i could be with them,enjoying the holidays. Instead i find myself here in my shorts and Lion shirt,worrying about flight tickets,accommodation and uni life...wth...pink carebear tells me nt to worry and enjoy the holidays i have... But seriously,it creeps into my mind often...the thought of going totally way out of your comfort zone,going to some place new,knowing no one,not knowing a thing. I remember going to Taylor's,going with Marcel alone wihtout my parents,how i apcked the night before and decided 'i must do this'. Eventhough the first few months were one of the hardest of my short life so far,things turned out pretty well,largely thanks to the special people i got to know over there

Maybe i should use the time i have,to think about things...review and preview,or whatever that helps. Change is a part of life,but life doesn't change. It's cores are there to stay. It all depends on how we blend with the changes,adapt...without changing who we really are...you know if you are not yourself,you know when you are doing something that deep down,you know you would never do. Don't let the currents alter your righteous path all the way... I don't really know what i'm saying right now. I hope it makes sense.

The final days of college were full of bliss and great times spent together. Much was done. Much was said. Tears came trickling down on Friday,24th October, officially the last day of class. Much have we gone through, much is to be cherished.
I first stepped into the class after transferring from Cambridge A-Levels...i was freaking, i was new and i was entering totally unknown territory. But as soon as i opened the door,i just knew that my time in college...would not be wasted.
I could say a million things about my time here in college...but i'll just leave it at that...a million things i could say. I'll tell it as it goes. For now,the pictures will do the talking. This is going to be a long one. Enjoy =)

The Boxes on my Calendar

Here i am looking at the calendar...the empty boxes i have not crossed out yet... there's a week left to college...a week...college......sounds so casual no? But in truth,as hard as it is to describe it,the year has been a really memorable one...bringing me more lessons experiences.

If i cross the boxes out slowly,can it take away this aching feeling i have inside? one of quiet regret and sadness? Time...you pass by too fast. I have not had the chance to even get close to the people i have met here and now there are only a few days left. What can i do with the 5 college days left?

I thought college would fly by(it has...flown by bitterly),without much to remember or worth keeping to heart...but i was wrong. It is hard meeting new friends who can be considered dear and i have met some during my time here. Thinking about it brings memories flooding into my mind. The smiles,laughter,talks and walks...oh the nostalgia....

Should i feel pressured that finals are just around the corner? should i be sad that time has only left me with a few clicks before everything ends in a blink of an eye? i hope that the people i care about know that i do...and that the friendships or bonds that we have forged may stand the tests of time...something not easily done...as i have experienced...

But those that do are the ones worth holding on to...for the rest of time...those are the ones that bring that much more meaning to our lives...

Time...you may have left me with but a few clicks...but i will take it one step at a time...i won't let your winding hands push me...no...not this time.....

Don't fly time...i do not want to shed a tear yet...

A first for everything

There's always a first for something.

Last night was my first nightly outing with some friends. My friends (who aren't the naughty type) asked me to tag along and i was reluctant...all this while i've always declined. Then i thought to myself,have a look,observe and have a first. I wanted to see how it was like, this whole 'clubbing' scene that gets people so sinfully hooked.

We all went in a friends car and debated on the prices etc. and finally got in. We started having a few shots and the contents of the bottle was pitifully dwindling in no more than 30minutes there. What a waste. Friends got drunk...some may have not realised they were. So there i was,with em,sober as a pastor compared to the crowd, trying to have fun? whateverla...this was a night for me to be at the sidelines watching the scene,not being so much a part of it.

In the end,3 gt drunk,1 was pissed drunk and 1 more friend was still on his feet.

I had to carry pissed drunk friend fireman-style all the way down and out of the place all the way to his car. Me and 'still on his feet' friend watched over pissed drunk friend while he puked,stains on my shoes are still present. The other 3,were lost in that place. Ended up with me driving pissed drunk back home accompanied by on his feet friend. Had to go back to that place to pick 3drunk ones. The night ended on a rather surprised and awed note for me.

I admit i was a wee bit intoxicated,but self restraint in these kind of situations paid off. The baby ended up being the babysitter. Seriously,if things had gotten out of hand,we wouldn't have made it back without something happening.

I'm glad i've took a step beyond my comfort zone and learned something new,adding to my experience and some lessons which may prove important in this life.

So now,lets look at the important things we need to settle shall we? There is much to be done.

Hmmm...so many things to talka about cause updates have been very hard to come by. Trials just ended. Owh man it was freakay...but it's over and now the only thing that's left is the Finals. Received an e-mail from the University of Queensland...They gave me a conditional offer with a big catch...a TER of 89.5...damn that's high...

Had a Claypot Rice outing in Damansara with Bob,Jie Hao,Sue,Wei Guan, Joanne and Zhen.

Then had cousin's engagement dinner at Jaya One. A few pictures here.
Then then played lantern with Jason and Tasha's cell group.
Hehe. Plus had a fun get together lunch in SS15 with my former classmates. The few of us in Taylor's and fellow Ham from UTP Perak. hahaha. it was nice to sit down and get together.
After that it was Nana's BIG DAY!!! Her birthday...her 17th NOT YET LEGAL birthday. It was on the 23rd but celebrated it on Friday cause of the bloody trials. Went to BUBBA GUMP at The Curve...yum yum...nice nice yummy yummy food. Had fun and was glad to meet new friends. Loads of fun.

Then there was the day when i went back home on Saturday. Flight was at 9.45. Alarm rang at 6. Opened my eyes it was 7.17. Taxi coming at 7.30...what u thinkla!!!??? What I'm saying is,if these situations exist in small parts of society...what's stopping it from manifesting itself in our lives. We have nothing to lose by doing so. But the way our society has been shaped poses a barrier to those who really want to make life a better place...For now,we can only do our best and live together while those who have the power to impact big changes actually act. Watched a good and intriguing movie yesterday.
The Butterfly Effect. That's the name of the movie. It was released quite awhile back but wasn't much of a hit. But let me tell you, eventhough the name of the movie seems kind of corny,don't underestimate the contents of the show. there are many important underlying lessons in the movie and is a great way of showing the consequences of playing God. Yes,our imaginations and fictional fantasies might seem awesome and a great idea at one point. But watch this movie,and you will learn that those things are to be kept at that...mere fiction. Because if we try to mess with nature, we get it up in the crack....well,that's kind of true as far as the movie goes =P.

Taylor's Gives Back Charity Carnival

Woke up earlier than usual today. Spent whole night thinking bout carnival. Don't know why also. Then woke up at 2a.m and 4a.m for i dnt kno why also.

Anyway, today was Taylor's Charity Carnival and proceeds are going to those in China and Myanmar as well as the less fortunate in Malaysia.

It was actually quite a fun yet owh so hectic day. The hectic part, carrying tables, shouting, promting and standing so long till i can't even feel my foot now.

Then there was also the fun part where i could compliment people and say i was promoting our stall. Girls came by and i was like " You're hot. Have a cold drink to cool off". Then there was this guy who was walking away already and i shouted out "Hey man! You look really hot. Have a cold fruit punch". Guess what...he replies "That's a good one man. Give me one of that". Hahahaha. What a way to sell drinks. Then the part where we could laugh, smile and take pictures also added into the fun of it all.

(But conscience was nagging at me and it kept repeating YOU REALLY HAVE TO STUDY...NO MORE TIME...PLEASE STUDY...come on MAN!!! for God's SAKE...WTF u doing selling punch!!!??? GO home and studyla!!!)...urgh...i had to put that aside for that time.

I had so many pictures, i'll let 'em tell how the day went ok??? I also had a video of a hillariou thing between 2 'best-friends' but i was not allowed to post it if nt they would claw me to death...i think =p. ENJOY.

Sue got robbed just now after coming back from the gym. He was walking alone and 2malay guys came on a bike 2him. After awhile, one took out a knife n put it on him. He slammed the guy headfirst ino the ground. Motorbike go away. Other robber on ground. And sue is now safe at home. So he didn't get robbed. Just met with a few robbers. Thank goodness he's ok.

The Aftermath

After i hurt my ankle, the Programme Director was kind enough to offer to have all my classes changed to the ground floor. I said no no its ok (faking). But they insisted saying someone put in a request for me. Ok then...(smile smile). Hahaha. So they moved us to a classroom NEXT to the cafeteria for easier access.

So everyone was asking me to break a leg or something so that classes would always be there...ahhhh...such great ppl, wanting to enjoy the cafeteria at my expense...soooooooooo...NOT COOL!!!

Then it was Friday...it was like a terrorist attack...without warning...the whole class started coughing towards the end of spec maths and we ran out. Apparently...a CERTAIN classmate right behind me unleashed THE PEPPER SPRAY. We were actually quite surprised as to the extent of that one litte spray. Man...if you're a future rapist or something reading this right now, DO NOT MESS WITH CHICKS ESPECIALLY THOSE WITH PEPPER SPRAY...YOU ARE SO GONNA REGRET IT AND CRY FOR YOUR MUMMY.

It was normal after that and i managed to take a picture with Ee Ling...i was still injured so didn't go out of class for break...BooHoo =(....Here.

After class...hehehe...we went of to Nana's crib. Yeah...it's a CRIB, HOMMIE. So Sher Lin was so kind enough to drive right in front of college to pick us up....also beacause of my partial cacatness. It was Sher Lin, Beatrice, Nana and myself in the car. When we got to her place, i played Fifa with Calvin, Nana's lil brother, and i beat him...(5-0)hahaha...then we went on to the Wii...we had so much fun punching each other and cat-fighting that i was too damaged to take any pictures =p.

Dinner was served...we had Prawn Noodles...AWESOME PRAWN NOODLES. Nana's mum makes the nicest dishes. And her 'Har Mee' was really nice. I couldn't finish my portio cause too spicy for me and i was kind of sweating and BrIan Moi was laughing at me...so shad...hahaha. After dinner we went of to watch a play called 'Whose Dream' at Nana's church in PJ, which, she doesn't know how to get to. Silly girl. hehehe...

So i called my aunt and i was off to SJMC.
There were so many ppl there and no seats so i had 2wait standing. In pain.
Then the kind nurses got me a WHEELCHAIR. Whhhheeeeeeeeeeee...Hehehe.

Went back 2apartment. Tried to call Sue but he didn't pick up. So i took 10mins to walk up the stairs. And i sit there in my room...in pain...finding it hard to sleep.

I had a night swim at our family's place in KL...the pool was big, no one was in it and it seemed so appealing so we went in for a dip...

I miss the times when i could actually relax and leave stuff aside and appreciate what i have.
Those were the times when things seemed so much less complicated.
So less burdensome...lighter.
But nowadays it seems that there is always so much to do and so little time.
It's sad right?
More important things could be surfacing but we are so drowned in our self-made obligations.
Yes...maybe it's not the right time to rest or lay off a little, but that doesn't mean we have to neglect other things right?

Anyway...i swam in the dark and i smile...

But why the smile?...Well...cause im happy...that i have the chance to be where i am today..and im grateful for what God has given to me...

But after awhile...I start laughing...WHY???

Why ah?

So i got pissed lo that day. SHY took my hp and wouldn't let go. i got mad and smashed my hand into the kitchen door...YOUCH...it hurt. My hand still swollen ey...but am not pissed anymorela.

Anyways, Tuesday was a busy day. But I managed to watch BATMAN : DARK KNIGHT. This movie was one of da awesomest movies this year. Heath Ledger's performance was great. And the movie plot was so so to my liking. Batman was...well...batman... If u haven't watched the movie...YOU SHOULD REALLY GO WATCH IT.

Hehehe. They're a great mix of guys and well, they're nice people and I want you to get to know them.

This is Li Zhi. He's cool. Too cool la. He's funny guy. But don't take him for a fool or anything. He's gt da brains man. And you know what, he's actually a really nice guy.

Here's Koh. He sleeps in the double room. But da other bed is always empty. This pic was taken awhile ago. He said we study first then play game. When i went into his room, well...u get the picture.

That's Hwang Yang. He's a karate black belt holder. And he damn addicted to DOTA. He's the DOTA batu api in the house. Always convincing us,somehow,to play. I like him cause he lets me use his stuff to cook. Haha =p

Here, we hav Raj. He's a great guy. Studies alot and jogs alot. Spends alot of time in Starbucks. Must be trying to pikat da barister there. Hehehe

I forgot to mention...I went to mass on Sunday morning...it's been quite a while and the thought of not goin has been haunting me for so long.

Not goin to church and mass for a long time can have a profound effect on people...well...especially me... I felt so guilty and sinful...i felt that i had dissapointed God greatly and i felt lost...I needed guidance but i was'nt seeking any...i knew that something was wrong but i did not put any effort into finding a solution...just a little conversation with the Lord my God...

So goin to church was...a huge lift for me...i felt lighter and...so much more at peace...I cried almost the whole time during mass...i was so sorry for not staying close to God and i was in need of Him...I took the Blessed Sacrament and i made a little promise to God...a promise that i hope to keep...and i made this prayer...

Dear Jesus,

I am so so sorry for the wrongs i've been doing in my life.

I feel so guilty, burdened and sinful...

I need you Lord Jesus...I need you.

I can not take being alone in my life.

I am weak...and I am afraid.

Please guide me and help me my dear Jesus.

Forgive me my sins. Pardon me.

Be with me and help me dear God.

Help me to become a better person in my life,

A better friend,

A better child...

MY WEEKEND ESCAPADE

During the weekends (11-13 JULY), I went back to Kuching.

No, i did no go back for rainfest. BOO HOO.

So i had my taxi pick me at 4p.m after class and we headed down to KLIA. Luckily there was no jam and i slept throughout the ride. Was so sleepy after the bloody taxi cheating incident the niht before.

Before i go on...i went back just for the weekends cause MAS had cheap flights and i 'briliantly' made the booking. SMART ASS ey? Mummy says YOU SILLY BOY. WHY DUNNO HW TO BOOK TICKET AH??? BOOK FUNNY FUNNY TIME WAN.

Silly me...

So i got to the airport at 5p.m and just waited n waited and boarded the plane. Guess what...MAS finally got their minds back because they serve food again. ACTUAL FOOD. Not sandwiches and water like what they've been doin for the past couple of months. I had a choice between Chicken noodles and Chicken pizza...OMG! TOUGH CHOICE...so i went wif the Oodles.

Arrived in Kuching at 8.15. Mummy and lil sis were there to greet me. Gave mummy a hug and we headed back home where i had dinner and enjoyed the joy and comfort of my soft warm BED.
Saturday was an eventful one. Managed to spend some time with Su Ling and had lunch together.

That evening i had my FIRST EVER LON DISTANCE DRIVE. Hey, it was long ok. From Kuching to the outskirts of Serian is like from Subang all the way to Melaka. I drove aunty's kenari with grandma, cousin and sis inside. It was like a lil convoy cause Mum,dad, grandpa and bro were in the other car.

Luckily there's a highway now so...apa lagi...SURE DRIVE FASTLA. I not swateng drive so damn slow on highwayla. Grandma said headache if slow so...sure need to go fastla. But why drive so far? cause we were having a special dinner taht night. A dinner that would cause u damn alot of money and would be almost impossible to cook up over in KL.

Seriously...'labi-labi' is an awesome delicacy and a really great dish. One of my favourites. Here, it's fried in oyster sauce and chinese ginger.

Was so full and satisfied after dinner. Total Cost :...RM150...

Yeap...i watched Hellboy2 that Thursday. Really...i expected a bit more than what the movie had to offer but owh well... I went wif Li Zhi, Koh and Hwan Yang, my housemates, and had an unexpected twist after the movie.

After walking around Pyramid after the movie, we stopped by BarCelona...it's a clubbing place...So over there we saw ppl queing up and stuff. The music was nice and I might go there one day...for the musicla...not to smoke or drink or cuci mata..NO NO NO...Ain't no bad boy...ya DIG?

We stopped a taxi and asked him 2send us back to Asia Cafe. RM10...okla.

So drive drive...and da bloody taxi takes the long way..and asks if we should turn into Asia...I said MESTILAH..KAN PERGI ASIA CAFE. So the FU***ING TAXI DRIVER turns in and says SEKARANG RM15... MA CI#@!!!! SO SO WANTED TO PUSH HIM OUT AND KICK THE CRAP OUT OF HIM...owh well...there's always what if's...THAT MOTHER F*&^%R GOT US ALL SO PISSED THAT NIGHT.

Lets start off with the weekend of 5July(Saturday)

5 JULY SATURDAY

Su Ling came down to KL with her family and they invited me to stay over with them. Su Ling is a special friend of mine and we're very...very...vERY close. So i hop on the KTM and headed down to Petaling Street to meet them. We had dinner, walked around and talked. I dnt remember the details cuz hey...it was a long time ago ok?

Then Sunday came and we all headed up to Genting in a Naza Ria. It was really cramp in there and my butt was sore by the time we got up there. I really enjoy the weather up in Genting...and i enjoyed spending time with Su Ling...

Here's the question, what is a friend?

You see,i've had many experiences before. I've heard this question asked before too. And really, i have nt heard of a really good answer before. Is a friend someone u knw 4a long time n is always there? is a friend someone who understands ur thoughts? is a friend someone who can make you feel alright? or is a friend just someone you know?

People have gt close 2me before, and many i have helped. The sad thing is, once they're relieved of whatever hurt or pain they carried, they move on, leaving me behind. It's sad isn't it? Especially if you thought that there would actually be someone around to do the same for you. It's really not easy to find people who sincerely care...who would really help u in ur time of need. I have never come across a person like this...but there are a few who come close.

Let me jst sum this up...no matter who you are, if u have people u regard as friends, take care of that relationship and treasure it. Because no matter what kind of friend you have, nobody wants to be alone.

That was da damn exagerated version of todays after lunch eventla. Take a look at this.

Yup. HellBoy is back. This time with the number 2 and he brought The golden Army with him 2. I first knew about this upcoming movie watching trailers online and i'm telling you i can't wait 2watch it cause it's gonna be really awesome.

Back to this afternoon, Nvida,a company dealing with entertainment stuff decided to drop by at the main campus. Lucky us cause as we got back, we saw 2 SWAT looking fellows suiting up, with GUNS man. GUNS. So we took a seat on the bench right in front of them, watching. The GUNS looked real man,da grenades and all 2. But alas, they were props. But the suit was real though, bulletproof vests and all.

What we didn't knw was that they were there to promote the new movie. And *JENG*JENG*JENG*JENG*..HELLBOY Malaysia ( you knowla Malaysia got alot of copy paste here n there including HellBoy cetak rompak here) stepped out of the Nissan and into the light to greet us. Hahahaha. Damn he looked cool. Here are the pictures we took.

I was browsing through the newspaper today and i read sumtin bout World Youth Day 08 in Sydney. It's sad to read about people wanting to use the event to hold rallies and protests against the Catholic Church. I mean, come on. Youths from around the world are going there just to get together in good faith with the pope's blessing. Not to attend some world forum on gay rights, abortion or condom use. People really need to learn to not use religious events as stages to highlight their group's/own issues. Learn to respect other people's practices and norms. Don't go trying to ruin an event like that just because you're not happy with the church saying being gay is a sin.

Please,to those reading this, yes...secularism and freedom of speech is now an ever spreading phenomena and many are trying to explore it. I respect the rights of those of you who feel neglected or discriminated or are just not happy with the church's view on things. But please, your stage is somewhere else. Give the youths a chance to experience something inspiring and good for a change, not another rally we see on the telly and happens fr all the wrong reasons.

Today is the first day of july…
Just 2months until trial exams…it seems far…but really…I’m so worried
But at the times when we usually feel that we are not ready, that is the
when we really push ourselves. I hope that it will happen 2me 2. Cause I sure don’t wanna be stuck here for too long…

Im in KL now looking down at the streets below.

It’s all crowded and full off people scurrying around like ants. I don’t want my life to be like that…to be like an ant moving around everyday doing the same little bit of thing over and over again. I don’t wanna be a zombie. Heck! Who wants that kind of life.

That’s why I appreciate the life God has given to me. Everything is provided, you just have to make the best out of it. I’ve been telling those I know the same thing, no matter how your life is, you always have a choice, the power to change things. I believe in that.

Anyways, let me introduce you to a friend of mine. She’s one of the nicest people I know in college and was one of the first person to talk to me. INTRODUCING….

She’s my girlfriend! (you know…girl friend…da girl power kinda thing) yeah…so I gt dat straight. She’s the SAM student council President. My friend’s a president! Cool ey…hahaha.
Anyways, Nana is my big sister and the cruel Chinese *itch. (Im a gentleman nana, won’t say baddy bad bad stuff = p). Im her little sister. You see, she treats me ike her sister and I’m glad I have her around. But at times…she turns into an evil evil person, transforming into a being wif tiger-like claws of fury, the beak of a duck, traces of meow meow beard and an awesomely dangerous PURR…yes…her cat like purr is indeed deadly. At this state, she can beat,knock knock n scratch anyone who stands in her way of reaching her goal of…..ah…nxt timela I tell…dunno her goal yet.

And here’s Bob.

Bob has a Waja. Bob is very generous. VERY. And a VERY nice friend. Hahahaha. Bob is the King of Lame. His lameness can lame you into lameness (note the hint of lameness in this statement that it is so lame).

Trying to BLOG!!!

Hey there world wide web and the people stuck in it…haha
Here I am trying to make an imprint of my life on the net.
Been trying to do this for a while but I never saw the point or
hype about blogging.

Then it hit me a few weeks ago,
Having a blog is like having a book 2write in.
So it doesn’t really matter what is its purpose cause it belongs to
me.

Nana’s blog gt me all interested in this.
I’ve always wanted 2share experiences and some thoughts
with people and I guess this is the perfect avenue to do so.
